The story

It started with a bucket.

Cougar Elfervig started washing cars for money at fourteen and never really stopped. LUXE opened in 2012 as a one man detailing operation in a 1,500 square foot shop in an alleyway in Salt Lake City.

The bet was simple. Do the work properly, explain it honestly, and people bring you their next car too. Fourteen years later that bet pays for an 18,000 square foot facility, a second studio in Park City, and a team that includes people who started at the wash bay and now run departments.

Plenty of people assume LUXE is an out of state chain. The opposite is true. Both studios are ours, both are here, and the owners are in the building.

Some of the people running departments today started at the wash bay. The training ladder is real, the roles are specialized, and the work holds up because the same trained people do it every day, full time. There are zero contractors in the building.
