Ceramic coatings in Utah

Ceramic coatings are a silica based layer added on top of your car's existing clear coat, creating a chemical bond. This new layer is highly hydrophobic, protecting your paint from chemical reactions from common contaminants such as bird droppings, tree sap, insects and road salt.

Ceramic coatings also greatly improve the look of your clear coat. Not only do they prevent water spotting during washes, but they also revive the original factory look of your clear coat restoring the initial gloss and depth of the color.

This application also prevents future oxidation that car paint experiences by UV exposure your clear coat would otherwise absorb, which matters at Utah's elevation, where the sun is considerably harsher than at sea level.

Does a coating replace paint protection film?+

No, they solve different problems. A coating handles chemistry, sun, and grime. Film handles rocks and physical impact. We recommend combining the two for maximum protection.

How do I wash a coated car?+

Hand wash with the routine we teach at pickup, or leave it on a maintenance plan with us. Never automatic car washes with brushes.

How long does the coating actually last?+

The product ratings are real when the car is washed properly. The care kit and the two week checkup exist to keep the coating working like day one.
