What it is

Paint protection film is a clear urethane protective layer installed on top of your paint. It takes the gravel, the road salt, and the highway sandblast so the finish underneath stays new, and the film self heals, so light scratches from washing disappear with a little heat.

We cut LLumar film on software patterns built for your exact year, make, and model. Nothing gets scored against your paint, and the install happens in a climate controlled bay by our in house technicians.

Highest-level install. Badges, vents, trim, and panels are removed as needed so film can be tucked out of sight and run into the panel gaps wherever possible.

A new color that still takes the rock chips.

Paint protection film with the color built in. Unlike vinyl it protects: the same urethane and the same hydrophobic topcoat as a clear install, with film warranties that run up to 10 years with a bold new look.

These jobs are only done one way: a tailored install. Badges, vents, trim, mirrors, door handles, spoilers, wings, and panels are removed as needed so edges disappear into the gaps to the maximum extent possible.

It works as a full color change or as accent pieces, a roof, a hood, mirror caps, and carbon fiber texture is available for accents.

Questions

Asked all the time.

Do I have to protect the whole car?+
No. Most cars that come through get the front end, where the impacts happen. Full body makes sense for satin finishes, rare paint, or cars that see a lot of highway.
What does the warranty cover?+
LLumar warranties the film against yellowing and delamination, and our labor has its own warranty on top. The two week checkup after install is part of keeping both valid.
Can you see the film on the car?+
Not unless you know exactly where to look. The film goes on optically clear so there is no visible line.
How long does an install take?+
A few days to a week, depending on the coverage and install level.
Can you protect matte or satin paint?+
Yes. LLumar's matte film keeps the factory finish of satin and matte paint, and the same film gives gloss paint a smooth satin look if you want it. Matte paint cannot be polished the way gloss can, which is one more reason to film it before the first scratch.
